Initially, the design of the “Fly” was conceived as lcd projector that should be in the air. Whether mounted on a ceiling or placed on a stand, its form should have been light. As an opposite to what exist on the market this projector is soft, with rounded lines and surfaces.
This starting point presented a huge challenge since the standard construction of inside elements predicted and predetermined very low space usage efficiency.
With upmost determination and professional dedication, all the inside components are designed in such a way to completely follow outside functional and visual guides.
As a result, we have a unique design of an video projector which is visually light and unobtrusive element of any interior.
The sketches presented here show just a small segment from the research phase where Nikola Knezevic investigated all the possibilities within the given constraints.
